It’s almost time for training to commence for the new 2017-18 season.
Storm’s Summer Training schedule begins on Monday 3rd July and will once again take place on the Athletics Track at Carn Brea Leisure Centre.
With an exciting season ahead, including a first appearance in the Senior South West Regional League system, everyone is keen to get back to training.
Sessions will once again be split into two age groups with the players who are Year 8 and under training from 5:30-6:45pm and the Senior players, that’s Year 9 and above, training from 7:00-8:15pm.
Current squad players and new players considering joining Storm are encouraged to take part in Summer training as this is all part of the build up towards the new league season.
Summer Training is fun and fitness based before the club moves back inside to concentrate on netball skills and matchplay.
For new players the first training session is a free session to ensure you enjoy being part of the club so there’s nothing to lose. Just drop our Head Coach, David White, an email on firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll see you at training.
Players who are looking to take their netball to the next level in Storm’s Regional League team will need to attend Summer Training. There will also be extra sessions and trial dates issued in the very near future.
