Storm beat Hovelands 79-36 in South West League
The visit of the Somerset side follows on from two away games at the start of this season’s campaign.
Storm got off to a flying start scoring 9 goals without reply at the start of the match.
Another 9 goal run later in the quarter saw the home side take a 23-7 lead into the first quarter break.

Head Coach David White switched up the centre court at quarter time with 14 year old Bryher Croker replacing starting centre Phoebe Lagor.
Storm continued to press home their advantage and took the second period 19 -9 to lead 42-16 at half time.

Fern Noott replaced Bethany Fenn at Wing Attack, while Lagor replaced Maia Adams at Wing Defence for quarter three.
The period proved tighter but Storm took it 16-12.

Changes in defence at the break saw a new trio at the back with Kirstin Lamb moving from Goal Defence to Goal Keeper to replace Niamh Symons, Adams came on at Goal Defence, Fenn switching to Wing Defence and Lagor moving back to Centre.
Another strong quarter from the home side sealed all the points and gave Storm their third consecutive victory to remain one of four teams at the top of the table yet to lose a game.

“We were delighted with the performance and result,” said White. “It was great to give everybody a lot of court time and look at some people in different positions whilst still maintaining a high intensity in our play.
“I thought Beth had another good game at Wing Attack and I was pleased with Bryher when she came on for the second and third quarters.”
