Sharon joined Storm in the late summer of 2005 and started out as Storm 2 Wing Attack. A reshuffle of Storm 1 in October of that season saw Sharon drafted into the first team where she's remained ever since.

A successful first season when she played a pivotal role in Storm 1 winning the Cornwall Division 5 title saw Sharon named as the Coach's Player of the Year.

A calming influence on court, Sharon accepted the Club Captaincy at the start of the 2006/07 season and went on to be voted Storm 1 Player's Player of the Year.
