Storm's U14 Tornadoes team has made it through the Cornwall Qualifying tournament to reach the Southern Area Regional Finals.

Tornadoes Captain Zoe Stratton-Knowles was celebrating her birthday at the Qualifying Tournament

They're joined by Saints and Penryn in the finals which take place in Plymouth on March 24th.

The team, which features two U13 players in Lucy Brigly and Emily Coltman, was captained by Zoe Stratton-Knowles who was celebrating her birthday.

Whilst the girls were delighted to get through, the tournament wasn't without its casualties for Storm, one of which was Goal Attack Sasha Wynn.

Sasha landed awkwardly on her ankle and was taken to casualty after treatment courtside.

Head Coach David White was looking forward to another road trip; "The girls did very well to get through and now we've got some work to do before March and our trip to Plymouth which we're all excited about.

"Hopefully Sasha will be back fighting fit by then after doing her ankle. She was in a lot of pain but fingers crossed it not too bad."

Storm will face a day playing the best U14 teams in the Southern Section of the region with the top four going through to the Regional Finals.
