Three of Storm's Under 16 players have successfully earned their places in the Regional Talent & Performance Academy.
Rebecca Hocking, Martha Hilliard and Laura Butler were selected at the recent trials and all three were delighted to be chosen.
Rebecca Hocking, who was also part of the Storm 2 team that won promotion to the second division last season, said: "It's hard work but definitely worth it and I really appreciate everyone's help getting me there."
Laura Butler was Rebecca's shooting partner in Storm 2 last season, she said: "I thought it was amazing that I got in last year but to do it again is absolutely brilliant."
Martha Hilliard, who played in the Division 6 winning Storm 3 and was centre for the successful U16 Hurricanes team said: "I'm happy to get selected again, everyone there was very good so I'm very lucky to get in to T&P. Storm has definitely helped me a lot to get in and I'm very happy with what I've achieved."
All three players will attend the Academy sessions in addition to their Storm training.
Head Coach David White was pleased that the girls' hard work has paid off, he said: "We're all delighted for the girls, they had a great season last year in both the Under 16's and the senior league so it's a great reward for them. Of course it doesn't mean that they get out of running up the sand dunes when beach training starts!!"
Storm is currently on its six week break but training resumes on Tuesday, 14th June at Portreath Beach.
