The local Rotary Clubs have given a donation to Storm to enable the club to purchase new tracksuits for all its senior players.

Storm will be supported by the Rotary Club this season

The club has already been able to purchase tracksuits for its four junior teams and now a deal between the local Rotary Clubs and Andrew Trenoweth of KHK Media has allowed Storm to kit all teams out with new tracksuits for the forthcoming season.

The donation was organised by Stephen Lay, a Rotary District Officer and long time supporter of Storm, along with the President of Camborne Rotary Club Linda Taylor.

Linda and Stephen came along to a wet Summer League on Wednesday night to present the cheque to the club.

Storm secretary Sadie White said the club was thrilled to receive the donation; "We'd like to thank Stephen, Linda and Andrew who arranged to cover the cost of the senior tracksuits plus all the generous local Rotary Clubs who have contributed. It's going to enable us to make sure all eight of our teams are wearing the same tracksuits from the start of the season which the girls are very excited about!"

Storm will now purchase the tracksuits through Cornish Granite Sports ready for the clubs first September Netball Festival in a few weeks.

Remember if you are interested in becoming a Storm player next season or just getting involved with the club as a volunteer then now is the time to get in touch. Just drop us an email on our Contact page for more details.
