Storm's three Junior League teams had a great opening weekend as the Cornwall Junior League got underway.
Storm has two teams in the Under 14 section, the Tornadoes and the Cyclones, plus the Whirlwinds who are in the Under 12 section. Several of last year's Whirlwinds team have moved into the U14 age group for this season so with a new look team the girls took to the court for their opening game. They played superbly to beat St Agnes 22-0. The next match was much tighter but the girls did well and fought back for a 3-3 draw against Brannel. In the Under 14s the Tornadoes opened the fixtures with a 13-7 win against Saints Meteors. The Tornadoes then had to come back from 7-4 down at half time to beat their club mates the Cyclones 11-9.
