Storm players, coaches and support team got behind a community event at Carn Brea Leisure Centre this weekend.
The event, organised by BBC Radio Cornwall, was called 'Give An Hour' and is designed to help people get a first taste of the internet and computers.
The idea is that with the clocks going back we all have an hour to spare to help someone out.
The Storm team, which also included BBC Radio Cornwall weatherman Kevin Thomas, gave their time assisting people get online.
Andrew Trenoweth, the club's Photographer and Simon Wells, the club's Podcaster were both in attendance and both managed separate queries of uploading and emailing photos.
One of the people who came along was Paul. He was looking for help emailing photos to his family in America.
Andrew talked him through the process then he surprised everyone when he presented Storm a £500 donation to give to the Phoenix Stroke Appeal, a charity that Storm was raising money for through its Festival last month.
