KHK Media Sponsor Coach For Trip To Wales!

Photography company KHK Media has stepped in to sponsor the coach for Storm's forthcoming trip to play Wales.

The club has been invited to take an Under 16 team to play Wales Under 15s at the Welsh Institute of Sport in Cardiff in February.

Now, thanks to Andrew Trenoweth and his Dad Mike the club can take the players and supporters in style.

"It's important to us as a club that we always try and do things the right way," said Head Coach David White. "When this invite came from Wales we knew we had to get a coach organised and we're extremely grateful to Andrew and his Dad Mike as this was an unexpected expense, albeit a very pleasant one!"

Andrew Trenoweth, who takes all the club's photos, has been a Storm sponsor for a number of years including sponsoring the junior section previously and currently the match dresses of the club's four Senior teams.

"I have had the immense privilege of watching Storm's junior section turn young and inexperienced netball players into the incredible athletes that make up the Hurricanes team," he said. "The Hurricanes have produced many of my fondest memories of the last few years. The Under 14 Championship trip to Bath is something that I treasure having been a part of, and heart stopping matches like those against West Exeter last year and Saints this year prove what an fantastic team they are. The club could not wish for better ambassadors, and I am massively proud of them.

With the fixture against Wales in February Andrew felt it was something that he wanted to help the club make happen for its young players. "The chance to play Wales is an amazing opportunity and another great chapter of the Hurricanes' story. I am delighted to be able to help the trip go ahead, both as a thank you for some fabulous memories and as a reward for the effort and commitment that they have all put in over the last few years."

Storm will use Cornish company Williams to supply the coach not only for the Wales trip but also to away games at Bridgwater (all seats already booked) and Plymouth Marjon.

The Wales match will take place at 11am on Saturday 18th February at the Welsh Institute of Sport at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff. If you're interested in coming along on the coach to support the team please contact us as soon as possible.
