Lottie, who represented England and Great Britain during the last season, won the Gold Award in the Individual category.

She collected a large trophy plus vouchers to spend in Tony Pryce Sports in Truro.

Meanwhile the club was awarded £1,300 worth of clothing after the Charity Trust presented the youth players with 47 club tracksuits.

These tracksuits will be used for all Storm players who are Under 18 who make the Senior and Junior league teams.

Club secretary Sadie White was amazed at the award; "I am in shock," she said as the award was announced. "This is going to be an unbelieveable help to our club and we must thank Chris Hailey, the Chairman of the Trust, plus the other board members for donating such a generous amount of money to us."

Head Coach David White was also full of thanks to the Trust; "This is an incredible achievement for us and I know Chris Hailey has worked extremely hard to get all the money together. It's been a great effort and we're delighted to not only receive 47 tracksuits for our juniors but also to have the Gold Award winner from our club.
