Storm took part in the annual Carn Brea climb for Shelterbox on Bank Holiday Monday with two teams making the trek up to the top of the hill.

The two Storm teams take a breather at the top of Carn Brea after climbing three times each for Shelterbox

The club also took the opportunity to present the Rotary club with £180 that was raised for Shelterbox at the final Under 16 Regional League game.

Storm secretary, Sadie White, presented the money to Stephen Lay from the Rotary Club before the teams set off on the climb.

Sadie was joined by Saira O'Dwyer, Lisa Budd, Hailey Collins, Rebecca Hocking and Richard Hocking as the teams made 3 ascents each.

A huge well done to everyone involved as the conditions when they set out were miserable with rain and wind.

Storm is currently on its six week break but training resumes on Tuesday, 14th June at Portreath Beach.
