Storm has two teams in the Summer League this season, Storm Orange and Storm Blue.

Last season the club used Summer League to introduce new players to Senior netball and Storm welcomed two new players to the club during week one this season.

Lottie Richardson made her debut for Storm Orange against Predators while Lisa Head played for Storm Blue against Lastonet.

Head Coach David White said; "There's going to be opportunities throughout the 12 week league for lots of players to play with people they may not normally be on court with and the club will be introducing some of last season's Under 14 players to Senior netball."

It was a lovely night for the first week with the weather holding and it remaining bright and breeze-free for both games.

Storm Orange beat Predators 27-21 while Storm Blue lost to Lastonet 23-13.

Storm will be at Summer League every Wednesday now until the end of August and also Beach Training gets underway on Monday, June 14th at Portreath Beach. Youth players (8yrs - 13yrs) from 6pm-7.15pm with Adult players (14+) from 7.30pm-9.00pm.
