Storm's junior section has received a boost ahead of the new season with an award from the Redruth Charity Trust.
The Trust, which has been running five years, hands out financial awards to youth sports clubs in the Redruth area and this season Storm is one of the lucky clubs.
Storm has received £520 towards the cost of new junior match kit.
Rebecca Hocking was also recognised as one of the area's talented athletes after being nominated by the club.
She took home a trophy along with some vouchers for Tony Pryce Sports.
Storm secretary, Sadie White, was delighted to receive the money; "We'd like to thank Chris Hailey and everyone involved with the Redruth Charity Trust Youth Sports Awards for their kind donation. We'll be using the money towards getting our Under 12 team new match kit for the forthcoming season."
Storm is currently on a six week summer break and will return to training on Monday June 14th at Portreath Beach.
