Storm 2 just missed out on winning their first game since Christmas in a tight match at Penryn College.

Storm got off to the better start taking the opening period 7-3 and extended their lead by another goal winning the second quarter 7-6.

Harriers hit back in the third to level the scores at 17-17 going into the last and despite the game going goal for goal the visitors just had the momentum to sneak the win at the end.

It was a much better performance for Storm 2 though and Head Coach David White was pleased: "I thought we played a lot more together than we did against Hayle and overall it was a pleasing result."

"We managed to run them close and got a couple of bonus points so I'll be looking for more of the same next week when we've got games against Penzance and Falmouth."

"I thought Olivia played very well again, her passing was very accurate, and also Dani appeared more confident under the posts with Rachael as support."

Storm 2 now face two games in three days with matches away to Penzance 2 (Monday 25th) and home to Falmouth 1 (Wednesday 27th).
