Storm caused an upset in the Cornwall Challenge Cup Quarter Finals after knocking out first division Bodmin in a thrilling match at Penryn College.
With a slight change to the starting line up Saira O'Dwyer came in for the unavailable Hailey Collins at Wing Attack.
In contrast to the last league game, Storm got off to a flying start after the team's new pre-match massage therapy from Jessie Maguire and led 12-4 after the first quarter.

Bodmin made a couple of changes and bounced back to take the second quarter 11-5 to close the gap to 17-15 at half time.
The third quarter was tight and tense and finished 5-5 to leave the match finally balanced at 22-20 to Storm going into the last period.
Storm came out strong at the start of the final quarter and edged to four goals ahead but Bodmin pulled back to level up at 28-all with 45 seconds to go.
Storm moved the ball into the Bodmin circle and scored to lead by one with just 30 seconds left.
Bodmin took the centre pass, got it out and into the Storm goal third but Storm's defence held firm and denied the shooting opportunity.
The whistle went and Storm had won by just one goal!
Head Coach David White was relieved but proud of his players; "We knew we were underdogs going into the game but we're all delighted with the result."
"It was certainly a tough but fair game and to be honest in the last few minutes it could have gone either way but thankfully we held our nerve, got the crucial goal and then managed to find some extra energy to keep them out right at the end."
Storm have never beaten Bodmin 1 in a competitive game so this was a first. Another first was the use of a massage therapist before the warm up for the game.
Storm welcomed Jessie Maguire into the fold and she worked with the players before the match to help with muscle preparation.
White said; "We're really pleased Jessie has come to work with us and we look forward to seeing her at our games this season. All the girls said they felt a huge benefit from the massage Jessie did on them before the game and I know Maggie enjoyed the massage she received after the game."
"We've got three games in six days so it's important we try and avoid any injuries. As a club we want to prepare the players properly and help them recover as much as possible between games. The work Jessie did with them today and again before the Silhouettes game on Monday will help immensely towards that."
Storm are now the lowest ranked team out of the four semi finalists; St Austell (Regional League 1), Hayle (Cornwall 1), Predators (Cornwall 1) & Storm (Cornwall 2).
Storm 1's next game is Silhouettes away on Monday 9th November at Penrice School at 8.30pm. |
