Storm U14 player Evie-Mai Haggar has been selected to attend the County Academy after being successful at the recent trials.
Evie-Mai, who was already selected for Satellite Academy for the second consecutive season, was put through her paces at Truro College.
After a day's trials she was invited to attend the County Academy this season.
She now joins her team mate Rebecca Hocking who attended County Academy last season.
Rebecca is currently on her way back from injury but has been selected to remain in the Academy for another season.
Storm Coach David White was delighted, "I'm really pleased for Evie-Mai. It's been great to watch her develop since we started our junior section and I'm sure if she works hard at training she'll do very well."
"She's already played for our Senior team at Summer League and both her and Rebecca have certainly got the potential to be excellent players for our club."
Both girls will be playing as part of the Hurricanes this season in the Cornwall Junior League which starts with matches against Penryn and Lastonet on Saturday 3rd October at Penryn College. |
