Storm lose away to Regional 3 League Leaders.

Storm faced a tough trip to the leaders of South West Regional League 3 (South) without five of their squad.

It’s been the story of the season as injuries and unavailability left the side facing an uphill task once more in Street.

However, after confirming safety in the league last week against Hovelands, Storm put in another good performance against a side who, after results elsewhere went their way, will be playing in Regional League Two next season.

“I was delighted with our overall performance once again,” said Head Coach David White. “We’d worked on a few things in training this week which the girls were able to put into practice and they were pleased with how they worked.”

It’s always been a hard fought game when Knights and Storm meet and this one was no different.

“I thought we put some good passages of play together and bearing in mind we had three U16s and two U17s in the line up I thought we stood up very well.

“It’s always nice when the opposition Captain stands up and says she felt the score didn’t reflect how hard they had to work so lots of pleasing things for us today and something to build on as we’re already thinking about next season.”

What’s Next?

Storm have a week off Regional League now before the final three games of the season starting with a trip to Lovell Titans on Sunday 22nd March.
