Caitlyn Selected For Team Bath

Storm U16 shooter, Caitlyn Oates, has been selected for the Team Bath U19 Training Squad.

Caitlyn, who’s been at Storm since she started playing netball at the age of 10, will train every week with the National Performance League long squad.

Training takes place at the University of Bath so it’s a big commitment for Caitlyn but one she fully deserves according to Storm Head Coach David White. “We’re all thoroughly delighted that Caitlyn has got the chance to train with Team Bath,” he said. “We’re very proud to have a Storm player in the Team Bath set up and Caitlyn has worked very hard to get there.”

“Team Bath held Open Trials this season which meant we were able to put Caitlyn forward and it’s paid off but now the hard work begins.”

Caitlyn will be part of Storm’s U16 Tornadoes squad again this season when the South West Regional League gets underway this weekend.

Tornadoes face a trip away to Clevedon Royals in the opening weekend’s game.

Caitlyn is also a member of Storm’s first team squad in the Cornwall Senior League.
