At 15-10 down and after a second quarter drubbing Storm dug in winning the third 8-4 to trail by one going into the last.
In fact Storm saved their best quarter for last winning 9-3 to take the game 27-22.
"That must have been pretty exciting to watch if you were a neutral," said Storm Coach David White. "However, on the bench we were tearing our hair out!!"
"The girls showed great resilience though and, after what was a disastrous second quarter, fought back with tremendous spirit to take all the points."
"We played four 15 year olds tonight and every single one of them thoroughly deserved their place in that team, in fact every Storm player can be pleased with how they played"
Storm 2's next match is a tough game at home to Harriers on Friday 25th January at Redruth School with an 8:30pm start. |
