Storm 2 put in another improved performance to edge out Harriers 2 in another exciting game in Division 5.

A low scoring third quarter saw Harriers win 5-4 meaning Storm led by one going into the last.

Another strong defensive performance from Holly Hoskins at Goal Keeper and Bianca Lincoln at Goal Defence kept Harriers at bay.

Some good attacking play and solid shooting gave Storm the quarter 7-5 and the win 26-23.

"This was another close game and I'm delighted again with the attitude and application of the whole team," said Storm coach David White

"We made a bit of a slow start but once the girls got their passing together I thought we played some good netball at times."

"Shannon Russell had a good game at Goal Shooter and with Jackie James away I was really pleased with how Beth Andrew slotted in at Wing Defence."

Storm 2's next match is a tough return game at home to unbeaten Connect 3 on Friday 1st February at Redruth School with an 8:30pm start.
