Storm tried to hit back but just couldn't get their game going in fact failed to win a quarter all night as the next three finished 9-8, 9-8 and 8-8.
"The girls were surprisingly upbeat at the pub afterwards," said Storm Coach David White.
"Lastonet needed to win this one and you could tell because they definately wanted it more than we did."
"If I'm honest we got a much needed wake up call tonight which should re-focus the girls for the rest of the season."
"Ultimately we've got one goal this season and that's only our first defeat so we're still on course to reach that goal."
Storm have two games in a week now starting with Silhouettes at home on Friday March 14th followed by Bumble Bees away on Wednesday March 19th. |
