Storm 2 were fortunate to come away with all five points against Steelers after a below par performance.

After a relatively strong first quarter Storm let Steelers back in the game and were hanging on desperately at the end.

Kerry Shears got most of Storm's goals

"Defensively were weren't too bad," said Storm Coach David White, "I thought Tracy Adlington and Kerry Hawkins had a pretty sound game again."

"We did struggle going forward though and certainly made it hard for ourselves."

Storm restricted Steelers to just one goal in the third quarter but were unfortunate to lose Wing Attack Jackie James who went over on her left ankle.

Storm 2's next match is their first home game of the season against Bodmin 3.

The match is at Redruth School on Friday 26th October at 8:30pm.
