A second consecutive loss for Storm 2 after a comprehensive defeat by unbeaten Connect 3.
The first quarter was pretty even with Storm just ahead by 9 goals to 8 but from then on it was all Connect as they scored at will to leave Storm pointless for the first time this season.

Kerry Shears came back into the team and played with a bandaged right hand as Shannon Russell moved to Wing Attack.
Tracy Adlington was out through injury so Karen Matthews slotted in at Goal Defence.
Storm started brightly enough trading goals with Connect for the first 15 minutes but after that things didn't quite go to plan as the home side ran out convincing winners.
"I'd like to sit here and say we were unlucky or we deserved more but it just wouldn't be true," said Storm Coach David White.
"Can someone please explain to me how a team can go from leading 9-8 after the first quarter to losing 42-21 in the next three?
"Not taking anything away from Connect because they thoroughly deserved the win but we were nowhere near our best.
"Still, there's nothing like a challenge and I'll be having a look at a few things in the friendly against Bodmin in a couple of weeks.
"On a positive note I was pleased with how Shannon fed the circle especially in the first and fourth quarters and Saira didn't stop working all match."
Storm 2's next league game is on Monday December 10th away to Predators |
