Storm 2 got their Division 5 season off to a good start with a hard fought win away to Bodmin 3 at the Dragon Centre.

Storm started solidly and led at the end of the first quarter after some good circle work by Kerry Shears and Emma Vardy.

In defence Tracy Adlington and Kerry Hawkins were starting their first game together and t they both put in good performances.

It was goal for goal pretty much all the way through the second and third quarters although at the end of the third Bodmin managed to stretch out a three goal lead.

With a couple of minutes to go Storm trailed 26-22 but an extra big effort from the team saw them pull back the goals and square the match at 27-27 to force a draw.

Storm 2's next match is away to Steelers on Tuesday 16th October at 6:45pm
