Storm rounded off a great debut season when the first team were presented with the Division 5 trophy by Heather Crouch, Vice-Chair of England Netball and Chair of Netball South West, at the Cornwall Netball Association AGM at the Penventon Hotel in Redruth.

Captain Sadie White led the team up to collect the trophy then were surprised to go up again after they found out they'd won the Perkis Cup given to the best defence in the Cornwall League. Storm 1 only conceded 215 league goals all season.
It was certainly a proud moment for everyone involved and the girls enjoyed a bottle of Champagne after the meeting.
The girls are now getting ready for a well-earned night at the Spa which their coach David White will be treating them to after laying down a bet at the beginning of the season. If the girls won the league they got a night at the Spa!! |
